Atlas Air’s Boeing 747, registered N452PA, operated a direct flight from Seattle to Antalya with flight number 5Y8112. The special flight lasted around 12 hours. According to reports, the aircraft brought technical parts from Seattle for the SunExpress aircraft TC-SOB, which suffered a landing gear collapse in recent months. After Antalya, the aircraft is expected to continue to Hong Kong on a ferry flight.
➡️ The Boeing 747, widely known as the “Jumbo Jet,” made its first flight in 1969. Famous for its distinctive upper-deck hump, the aircraft became one of the most iconic symbols of long-haul aviation. Although its role in passenger operations has declined, it remains active in cargo service today.
The aircraft’s striking design also drew attention after landing at Antalya Havalimanı, with many of our followers sharing their own footage of the arrival.
